The Birthers --Obama is not an American--The Golden Gate Bridge is an illusion, not real

In my opinion, the Birthers are delusional--they cannot accept the fact that a black man is President of the United States; so their only consolation is to hold on to the believe that the President is not an American citizen, that he was born in Kenya. Let's call a spade a spade--no diplomatic mombo-jumbo--I am no Diplomat--these people are racist. Oh are you calling us Berthers racist--yes I am.

Greetings Vibert; Miles Lee here in Honolulu....

I've lived here all my life. I remember Governor Abercrombie when he first ran for political office and I've followed his entire political career.

When he was recently elected as Hawaii's Governor his first public announcement was to end the Birther controversy by demanding the Hawaii State Health Department to produce Obama's birth certificate.

He in fact, made that statement publicly, in a press conference, so there was no doubt in anyone's mind what his intention was. It was a very clear demand from the Governor to the Department of Health.

In the weeks to follow nothing came of it. Sometimes actions, or in this case, the absence of action, speaks louder than words.

I can't speak for the rest of the country, but here in Hawaii, racism exists mostly on a superficial plane, meaning we all make fun of each others culture, color, or nationality. That's because we are such a strong melting pot of countless cultures which goes back at least five generations now.

As is typical of local culture, today's citizen of Hawaii is a mix of all races. My nieces and nephews have on average at least 6 to 8 different nationalities in their blood line.

Birthers in Hawaii don't give a hoot about the color of Obama's skin. Many of them went to high school with him. They just want to know for sure if he is in fact a natural born citizen. So far, there is genuinely no proof if it.

Respectfully,
Miles Lee
